Feeling a call to ministry in his teenage years, Andrew preached his first sermon at 16; the same year that he opened his heart to the dream of foreign missions by going on a short term trip to St. Petersburg, Russia. With a focus on inter-cultural ministry he attended Moody Seminary and is grateful to be serving the Lord in Oak Forest. He enjoys flirting with his wife Allison and wrestling with his children Levi and Micah. His dream is to see the neglected and outcast find the same hope in Jesus that was offered to him. That the love of Jesus would transcend the walls of the church and that people of all nationalities, cultures, social classes, and background would find their place under the banner of Christ. He is now serving as a Pastor in Oak Forest.

There is a big difference between a FAN and a FOLLOWER. Almost anyone can put on a Bears jersey but very few are talented or committed enough to play the game. Cultural Christianity has given way to many sympathizers who check the Christian box on their Facebook status, but have never really walked the narrow path. In this series we will explore together how to move from being simply Fans to becoming fruitful Followers of Jesus. September 13 – Knowing the Difference September 20 – The Narrow Way September 27 – Counting the Cost Our small groups will also be discussing the message each week as they meet. We encourage everyone to connect in a small group this Fall.
